Language Prerequisites
BCA offers many study abroad options, including single-semester, summer and full-year programs; liberal arts and sciences programs; and peace and justice programs. Many are taught in English and some are offered in a foreign language while others, specifically Germany, China and Japan, offer instruction in both English and the language of the host country.

Summer programs
All BCA Summer programs are taught in English with a focus on language and culture learning.

Programs with Language Prerequisites:
- Ecuador: Quito (Completion of two semesters of college-level Spanish)
- France: Strasbourg (Completion of four semesters of college-level French)
- France: Strasbourg (Internship) (Completion of six semesters of college-level French (or equivalent) are required
- Germany: Marburg (Completion of four semesters of college-level German)
- Mexico: Xalapa (Completion of two semesters of college-level Spanish)
- Spain: Barcelona (Completion of four semesters college-level Spanish)
